LiveReach xSP Voice consists of a Java application, thin and fat clients, and voice services.
The Java application provides the core functionality for the LiveReach applications suite and connectivity to the database. It runs in a Java Container .
The thin clients are browser components to enable Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browsers with voice over IP (VoIP) communications. The fat client is a Windows application providing a fully featured softphone.
The voice services are provided by HelpCaster's VocaServer. Supporting the open nature of IP standards, VocaServer is the ideal applications platform for creating differentiating and revenue-generating, enhanced VoIP services for next generation communications providers.
LiveReach is currently optimized for Oracle 10g database and Oracle 10g Fusion Middleware.

The LiveReach clients are compatible with H.323, SIP and Cisco's SCCP standards.
HelpCaster's VocaServer consists of a management and load balancing VoiceServer and a cluster of attached Multipoint Control Units (MCU). VocaServer is a robust VoIP application platform providing the advanced, scalable, and flexible architecture needed for the rapid deployment of value-added applications and communication services. The VocaServer architecture is based on key industry-standards, including H.323 and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for signaling, G.723.1 and G.711 for voice encoding, and RTP for media delivery.
