Tuesday, 22 August 2006 |
|
Nautical Data International has taken the use of its HelpCaster live interaction tools to a new level of innovation. The company markets electronic marine charts and related hardware, software and data products. NDI has launched a banner ad campaign on the marine forecast section of www.theweathernetwork.ca. Visitors to the site can now contact NDI directly from the banner ad using HelpCaster’s Chat or Click to Talk solutions. The company is looking to elevate the banner advertising medium to a higher level of impact through the introduction of live interactive options. In conventional Web advertising, when a visitor is interested in the ad proposition, a clickthrough will take them to another advertising page. NDI reasons that now, with the live connection, a Web viewer's interest will take them directly to a results-oriented dialogue with live, expert staff.
